The fall festival is one week away at Goett Family Park.
The Southern Highlands Fall Festival is scheduled for Saturday, October 17, from 11 a.m.–3 p.m. at Goett Family Park, 10950 Southern Highlands Parkway. The HOA lists a pumpkin patch, inflatable games and slides, rock climbing, face painting, BINGO, food trucks, a raffle, and live stage entertainment.
The organizer says proceeds benefit the Southern Highlands Boys & Girls Club. This is an advance-planning item outside the October 8–14 issue window; recheck the festival or HOA page before October 17 for any operating, access, or weather-related change.

Mama Bird currently publishes one daily schedule: 8 a.m.–9 p.m.
Mama Bird's official site lists its Southern Highlands restaurant at 10550 Southern Highlands Parkway, Suite 140, with 8 a.m.–9 p.m. hours Monday through Sunday. The site also links directly to its Southern Highlands ordering page and lists 702-570-6135 as the restaurant number.

Park water-play features are now in their published seasonal closure.
The HOA's recreation page says water-play features within Southern Highlands parks are closed seasonally from October 1 through April 30. That means an October park plan should be built around playgrounds, paths, lawns, courts, picnic areas, and other posted amenities—not splash or spray features.
A pavilion reservation does not make an entire park private. The HOA says non-reserved facilities remain first-come, first-served and non-reserved park areas remain open to the public, subject to posted rules and event operations.

The Corporate Center is a practical community anchor—not only an office address.
The Southern Highlands Corporate Center at 11411 Southern Highlands Parkway is the published location for the Fresh52 market and the HOA's management office. Recent community activities, including the October 4 donation and shredding event, also used the Corporate Center parking area.
For new residents, that makes the address useful to recognize: it is a recurring point for association business and community activity. Individual events still have their own access instructions, hours, and organizer pages, so the shared address should not be treated as a universal walk-in schedule.

How long does a Nevada HOA resale package remain effective?
The Nevada Real Estate Division's 2026 resale-package guide says a package under NRS 116.4109 remains effective for 90 calendar days. It also says the association must furnish the required package within 10 calendar days after receiving a written request from the unit owner or the owner's authorized agent.
The state guide lists required governing documents, financial information, fees, assessments, violations, and other resale-certificate disclosures.
